For the past 10 years I've been making homemade brittle as gifts for family and friends.
In the Fall of 2018, I decided to test the waters to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing my homemade candy. I set up a booth at my church's Crafts Fair and the orders took off. The customers became addicted to my delicious, melt-in-your-mouth brittle.
Then in March of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic happened. And although the CDC initially told people not to wear or purchase masks, I always knew that masks would eventually become the norm. I immediately started looking at face coverings and mask patterns that I could make for my family. I wanted to make masks that were unique, cute, comfortable and that would easily fit a filter if you wanted to add one. Once I was convinced that my family liked the masks I made, Homemade Creations by DARA was born. So, if you are wondering why there are masks on a page that sells candy, you have your answer.
​I am a small business, offering first-rate products and exceptional customer service to shoppers from anywhere in the world. My Homemade Brittle and Handmade Masks are made exclusively by me. My candy is made with the freshest of ingredients packaged professionally and tightly with the greatest care so that my customers enjoy my products to the fullest. My masks are made with care, disinfected with 80% Isopropyl Alcohol and are 100% reusable and washable.
I ensure a continuous variety of packaging options that will fit any budget.
